Florham Park
Official PageCollection Schedule
- Recycling collected every other Thursday by Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority (MCMUA)
- Place containers at curb by 6:00 AM on collection day
- No collection on some holidays; check schedule for make-up days

Morris Township
Official PageSingle-Stream Recycling
Morris Township uses single-stream recycling—combine all recyclables loosely in your blue recycling cart. No sorting required. Place cart curbside by 6:00 AM (5:30 AM in summer) on your scheduled collection day.

Plastic bags (do not bag recyclables), Styrofoam, food-soiled containers, plastics #3, #4, #6, #7, ceramics, window glass, mirrors, light bulbs, clothing
Important Tips
- All containers must be rinsed clean
- Do NOT tie or bundle materials
- Cardboard must fit freely in cart (break down boxes)
- Keep cart 4 feet from obstructions, mailboxes, trees

Location: 590 Mt. Pleasant Ave
Accepts all curbside recyclables PLUS: electronics, computers, cell phones, TVs, printers, scrap metal, tire rims, leaves (in paper bags), tree branches/brush, and tires ($5 per tire).
✗ NOT Accepted Curbside
NO plastic bags in recycling bins! Household hazardous waste, construction debris, concrete, rocks, dirt, large branches, logs, stumps, or batteries.

Montclair
Official PageRecycling Guidelines
Montclair has specific sorting requirements to reduce contamination. Recyclables must be placed loosely in a rigid container—no bags or cardboard boxes.

- Plastics #1, #2, or #5 (bottles, jugs, tubs only—up to 1 gallon)
- Tin, aluminum, bi-metal food & beverage cans
- Clear, brown, or green glass bottles/jars
- Poly-laminated beverage containers (milk/juice boxes)
- All must be empty, rinsed, no caps/lids/straws
✓ Mixed Paper
- Newspapers, magazines, catalogs
- Junk mail, postcards, envelopes
- Office paper, greeting cards
- Cardboard (not wax-coated), flattened
- Paperback books (hardcovers: remove cover)
✗ NOT Accepted
Plastic bags, film plastic, Styrofoam, microwavable trays, flower pots, dishware, toys, paint cans, mirrors, window/auto glass, ceramics, light bulbs, pots, pans, small appliances
Important: Food and party trays are NOT accepted, even if marked #1, #2, or #5. Plastic bottle caps, lids, and straws go in the trash.
Special Notes
- Only narrow-neck plastic containers (bottles/jugs/tubs) accepted
- Do not break glass into small pieces
